We're taking a day off from posting this week... the weather is so lovely these days, unusually warm for our corner of the world at the end of September. Also, being in the thick of canning season and trying to wrap up the last of yard work/projects before winter hits... there's never a shortage of things to keep us busy!
And... it's my birthday today... so once I get all those projects done, it's time for some relaxing!
Have a great weekend,

A Canadian Thanksgiving Table
Fall is rolling around and with it, here in Canada we look forward to our Canadian Thanksgiving in three weeks at the beginning of October. I can't wait for the turkey, stuffing and pumpkin pies!
I came across these wonderful serving items that I would like to use for serving a thanksgiving or harvest meal.

Fall Colors
When looking for paint colors the other day for my new bathroom, I came across Panatone's Fall Colors for 2009. I'm loving the red, dark grey, amber and tan colors. Lots of rich jewel tones, great for the upcoming Fall season!
Here are a few items from our shops that pick up on those colors:

A Vintage Harvest in the Kitchen
There is nothing like fall for me! The days are warm and nights are cool. The gardens are full of produce and trees laden with fruit. It does make me sigh when I think of all the produce I want to prepare for the freezer and pantry.
This week in my Etsy browsing I came across some lovely vintage items to make yours and my canning season easier. If you are not big on preserving maybe you would like some of these items to bring the vintage harvest time decor into your kitchen.
