Vintage Christmas

Well, Christmas is right around the corner... and if you're like me, you're trying to tie up all the last-minute loose ends, wrapping presents, and getting food together.

Here are some vintage Christmas recipes and ads to get you in the spirit...

My Original 60's Vintage Vehicle

When you truly love vintage it flows over into all areas of your life. My husband and I just purchases this gem of vintage last weekend!

This is a 1968 Monaco 500 in near original condition. It has a 383 magnum motor. It is original to this car and was redone about 2000 miles ago. The paint and interior are original. It runs like a charm. We are so excited and can't wait for the weather to get nicer that we can actually take it for a run!

Here are some pics.
Have a wonderful weekend! I hope that you enjoyed taking a look at part of my vintage collection.

Additions to my growing collection...

Over the past couple of months, I've made a few more additions to my ever-growing collection of peach lustreware items... Whenever I come across a piece, I'm always amazed that no one else snapped it up before me! These pieces are so lovely and timeless.

Peach, Gold and Black Teacup
marked "Winterling, Bavaria, Germany"

Cream Pitcher
marked "Made in Czechloslovakia"

Shallow Bowl
no markings

I haven't been able to find much info online about the cream pitcher or the bowl, since they don't have much for markings. So any information would be welcomed!
