Long time no post!  Last post was in 2011... a lot has changed since then!  Two more kids added to the family, thriving handmade Etsy shop {Sweet Sparrow Design}, and busier than ever.

As much as I love my handmade business, I will always have a passion for vintage and thrifting.  I never have as much time as I'd like to dedicate to my vintage Etsy shop {curious kitty vintage}.

I alway love seeing my vintage items featured in different treasuries on Etsy.  I love seeing what inspires people and what pieces they all put together.  This is one of my favourite recent ones.

MIA

I can't believe it's been almost 5 months since my last post!!  I got caught up in the busyness of summer -- gardening, yardwork, canning... figuring out the ropes of being a new mom -- my son is now almost 9 months (how did that happen?!?)... and harvest time -- I'm married to a farmer.

I am looking forward to investing some more time into my vintage shop on Etsy, and hopefully the blog as well.  I recently opened up a vintage shop on Zibbet.  I was drawn to Zibbet because there is a basic account option, with no fees!!  As much as I love Etsy, (I've been there for years), the fees are a bit of a pain.  I'm hoping for some success on Zibbet.  I have such a mountain of vintage stuff that needs to be listed (and sold!)!! 

My time has also been divided, because I'm been helping my mom in her new endeavour, Sweet Sparrow Design.  I'm mostly doing PR work... helping with her Facebook page... Zibbet and Etsy shops... and Twitter.  If you're a cloth-diapering mom or not, you should check out her shops!  We're hoping to add many new products in 2011... working on baby legs, toddler belts, pacifier clips, and LOTS more!!

BUSY!!

Once again, it's been awhile since our last post... wow, the start of Spring has been busy and I've been swamped taking care of my new little one. I love Spring... everything's growing and turning green again... putting in the garden... plants/trees blooming.

Thinkin' Spring

As we are at the end of our winter season I am thinkin' spring! I can't help but dream of the gardens and the flowers that I love to see in bloom. Spring is around the corner...I hope.
